Candle care tips
-
Burning
Always let your candle melt completely across the top before extinguishing. This is called a full melt pool. Always burn to a full melt pool to prevent tunneling. This will take the longest on the first burn.
-
Trimming
As candles burn over time, carbon can build up on the wick, which can cause smoking or too high of a flame. When your candle is cool, solid and not burning, use a tissue to pinch away any black part of the wick that comes off easily. You may need to trim the wick once or twice over the total life of your candle.

Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn for more than 4 hours. Always burn on a level, non-flammable surface and keep melt pool free of debris.
